Body and image research laboratory Gare XP Paris – from 8 to 14 july, 2013

In July 2013, I invited several artists (dancers, actors and actresses, video maker, visual artist, musician) to participate in a research laboratory. This project was born out of the desire to bring together people, artists from different horizons, to put in contact and make our different practices intersect. To take together this precious time of research, with no finality, without being in a production perspective as we are most of the time. For the experience.
Around a common theme, to be nourished by the proposals of the one and the others, to open its field of interpretation and experimentation, to move its glance.
For this first laboratory, we asked ourselves how, on the set, through the filmic image and the "living" image, to give to see and feel the body and its powers. And by approaching the cinematographic dimension of dance, we asked the question of how to look.
